Almost every day I ask myself about what I am doing here and if the decision of travelling to India was the right one. Often, being alone is not easy and I miss many of the daily things such as the comfortable couch, the home-cooking or the hot shower. Today I was travelling by camel cart in a town next to the Thar Desert, in the West of Rajasthan. Then, a near mosque began to sing the noon prayer. In short, all the mosques of the town added it shouting their prayers. I could hear the concert of the holy name of Allah while I was being carried by a quiet camel. It was a really magic moment.
In that moment I reminded the wise words of the Spanish writer Antonio Gala: “the adventure is essential” and I felt I was doing right.
