Indian border
Amritsar, the city where I'm living is situated in the North of the country and it's only 30 km. far from the Pakistan border. Every afternoon it happens a very interesting spectacle in the exact point of the border. What's it about? It's just the closing of the border gates. Some thousands of Indians are going every day to see it because it's a really must see spectacle. People sit down in a kind of tiers to see the guards parade. A part from the processions, the Indian and Pakistan border guards open and close the gates different times, they salute each other and they take down the flag. But they do every movement with a perfect synchronie and with a funny and exaggerate gestures, like a group of dancers. Moreover there is a cheerleader who stimulate the audience to applauding, singing and shouting the guards. You can't stop laughing! You can see some videos in Youtube, googling as key words: Attari border or Indian Pakistan border. For sure you are going to laugh watching it.
