Holding the hands

In India is not common to show the afect a man and a woman in public places. Hardly ever you can see a couple, even a married couple, kissing or hugging each other or holding their hands in the street. On the other hand you can see very often two men holding their hands while they are walking. It means just friendship but not at all homosexualitity like in many countries it means. But for me it´s still strange and I can´t stop smiling each time I see two men holding their hand in the street. Specially if they´re a policemen couple!
