Scaffoldings are usually done in this way in India: tying the bamboos with strong strings. It is one more example of how things work in this country. In spite of its apparent weakness it works. Dozens of workers with their tools climb up every day these scaffoldings to do their chore. Obviously, they do it without any kind of protection. Is this even safe and secure? :) Well, just asking.. I don't know how it actually works or how it's actually being done, but I hope safety is their concern..
