Indian kindness

An Indian woman, who was sitting down behind me in the bus, asked me in English what was my country. I was surprised because here are men who usually ask questions. I answered her that I came from Spain and she told me in a perfect accent that she also spoke Spanish. This woman, called Anita, lived for a long time in Mexico since her father has worked for the Indian embassy. Anita was really glad to refresh her Spanish and she invited us to have lunch at her home the next day and meeting her family.

We accepted invitation with willingness and the next day we reached the house punctual. We were surprised since they offered us to join them in a wedding feast which they have been invited. In fact, the wedding day was the previous day but here it's common to celebrate a meal after the wedding day with neighbours, acquaintances and all the people who want join them. The meal is in the traditional style, it means, people eat sitting down on the floor in a long lines and just using their hands. The food consists in rice and some vegetables and pulses that are served in some leaves on the floor.

The food was enough to be stuffed all the day and the family was really kind with us. In India you can meet lots of kind and interesting people such as Anita and her family but you must be alive to distinguish them of curious or unscrupulous people. You can meet both ones and others wherever. Sitting down behind you in the bus, for example.
